This research report, commissioned by the National Association for the Dually Diagnosed, explores the crisis of youth mental health, the impact of trauma, and families in crisis. It delves into various crisis intervention strategies, including START and I-START, in-home community-based services, peer-delivered interventions, follow-up/aftercare, substance abuse treatment, mobile crisis services, online and web-based services, counseling and psychotherapy, self-regulation, promoting resiliency, counseling and spiritual interventions, function-based crisis intervention, and culturally informed crisis intervention strategies.
